Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran:
"And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye, some were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided." (Surat The Family Of Imran, 3:103)
We cannot have any disagreements or differences in opinions, since we all have the Quran and the Sunna.
We are not allowed to split up into various groups and be guided by anything else other than the Quran and the Sunna. And the answer to the challenges of the modern world we must search exclusively in the Quran and the Sunna.
Especially when the Hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon Him) unambiguously points out at the source of our troubles as well as at the solution to our problem:
"When you start trade, halal, then when you grab a sheythan disturbation, some limit to yourselves to fall tired and abandon the halal dutie way. Do you abandon the Jihad?
Be clever: You can get pleasures fro sheytha, but, Allah will sent upon you humiliation, from which you will not be delivered until you return to your Faith." (Authentic Hadith told by Ahmad).
This Hadith clearly points to the problem and its solution. Paradoxical indeed is that some Muslims are trying to present the problem as the solution; also, trying to explain their lake faith , lake of cowrage, as "is wills from Allah (swt) to abandon the way when in hard times". This is big damage. Allah(swt) said:
When he comes towards Me walking, I go towards him running." [al-Bukhari]
So what is our problem? Doing a business and abandoning Jihad internal , external, for be in halal path!
When Muslims abandoned Jihad, then abandon others souls turnet to Allah (swt), is be away from Allah (swt) wills, forgeting that Allah(swt) said: will send humiliation upon those humiliate others, upon those be away from Allah(swt) Wills for to get Sheythan offers.
Messenger of Allah (peace be upon Him) said that we will not get rid of the humiliation until we return to our Faith. He (peace be upon Him) did not say that our Ummah will be victorious when we will be developing economy and agriculture. The supporters of such viewpoint have no support from the Quran or Sunna.
Where is the problem of the Ummah? Is it in the victory of the world of faithlessness by economic and technological ?
No, it is not! Prophet (peace be upon Him) said that our problem is that we abandoned the Jihad!!!
There is only one way out: to return into the bosom of our Faith, to return to carrying out the orders of Allah. And the important duty of Muslims is the Jihad [Allah(swt) achievements first]. Then to learn , then to teach, then to do acts respecting each memeber of the ummah, and many more those who Allah (swt) presented to us , for be in this jorney by side (near or far..must work for be near)...Allah (swt) knows the best. We do not know nothing! Then do not abandon the internal Jihad, and external , also.
And abandoning of Jihad means abandoning Islam.
When Umar Ibn Al-Hattab heard that Sahabs started farming on the most fertile land that they conquered in Jordan, while waging the Jihad, he waited until the time of the harvest and ordered to destroy the fields. Some Sahabs came complaining, and he said, "this is the job of the people of the Book, and your job is to fight the Jihad and spread the religion of Allah".
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) said: "Rizk (sustenance) is on the tip of my spear".
Today the majority of the members of Ummah are shunning the Jihad, and this is the reason for such a deplorable state that we are in. Muslims are fleeing from Jihad, thinking that it is a waste of money and life. But irrefutable proofs from the Quran and Sunna show that such reasoning is groundless. We can also see that when Muslims were conducting the Jihad and spreading the religion of Allah, the Ummah was getting richer and stronger. But when the Muslims renounced the Jihad, humiliation from Allah befell the Ummah.
Objective facts are showing that as long as Muslims were fighting the Jihad, the number of killed was significantly less than nowadays, when millions of Muslims are dying all around the world, and some are died , even walking on th world, yet..
One should ponder on the Ayat (verse) from the Quran:
"Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred what you wish; the wealth that ye have gained; or, the commerce in which ye fear a decline...are more important than the souls what are by side of you (near or far) by Allah (swt) wills: or
the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;-
then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious". (Surat Repentance, 9:24)
There is only one solution to all of our troubles, and it was clearly pointed out by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him). All we have to do is follow the only true way. And in conclusion I would like to quote the words of Abdullah Azzam:
"Do not be stingy with your blood and with the souls what Allah (swt) sent to u care and get care, , regarding this Deen. If you really are serious and sincere, lay your blood and your souls before the Lord of the Worlds, who granted them to you from the beginning, and do not be , you, a help to sheythan take a soul from Allah(swt)". Be real helper and accept the blessings , gifts, Favors from Allah (swt) to you life. Do not left the way.
"Surely Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain..." (Surat Repentance, 9:111)
