"Al Lail" (NIGHT)

Revealed in Makka, 21 verses.

92nd Surah

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

At night, when copper (light),


By day shineth,


For Him Who created male and female,


That your efforts are different (as of goals).


But to him who gives (in charity and is God-fearing,


And believes in the best,


We will facilitate the way of comfort.


But to him that niggle and might be considered sufficient,


And deny the best,


We will facilitate the path of adversity.


And not avail him his property, when he falls into the abyss.


We know that the incumbent orientation,


So too are Our ​​end and the beginning.


So I have warned the voracious fire,


They do not enter if not the most miserable,


Who deny (the truth) and disdain.


However, it will get rid of it as God-fearing,


Implementing their assets, with a view to purify them,


And does anyone any favors with the aim of being rewarded,


But in order to see the Face of your Lord, the Most High;


The soon attain (complete) satisfaction.
