There wasl a man who had four sons . He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest . They should drive up a tree of pears was far away , in another village . However , each of them should go in a different time . The first son went in the winter , the second in the spring , the third in summer , and the youngest son in the fall .When everyone had completed the task , he assembled them to describe what they had seen .The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted .The second son recanted and said that the tree was covered with green buds and full of promise .The third son disagreed and said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful , it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen .The last child stamped her foot and said it was the tree and drooping with fruit , full of life and achievements .The man then explained to his sons that they were all right , but they had seen only one season in the tree's life . I told them that you can not judge a tree , or a person, by only one season , and that the real essence of who they are can only be measured at the end , when all the seasons are together .Think about it , your brother may be living an autumn darkness , have patience for the spring opening or return it to your summer shine again .
