bismillaharrahmanarrahim
Allah (Exalted Sejas) states in the Qur'an (00:31):
"And tell the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty, that they should not display their beauty and ornaments (and artificial body) except the one that most commonly appears, that they should draw their veils over their lap and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands 'fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or the sons of their brothers, or the sons of their sisters, or their women, or the handmaids that your right hand possesses or servants free of physical needs, or small children who do not have sense of sexual shame;.!, and they should not tap your feet (wearing high heels) to draw attention to their hidden ornaments and oh believers Return If together towards Allah, that ye may obtain Happiness. "
Islam closes the doors that lead to men being tempted by women and vice versa. Islam commands to lower his gaze and forbids tabaruj (wanton display of adornments), mixed crowds containing both genders and a man is alone with women (and a woman to be alone with men). Women were warned about going out with perfume or traveling without a mahram. This reflects the perfection of Islam as men, by nature, are affected by women, and if this is not stopped then there will be a lot of fitnah (temptation and tribulation), and corruption is widespread, as we see in companies that were negligent in the guidance of the Shari'ah (Islamic Law).
It is said in al-Fatawa al-Lajnah Da'imah (17/128):
Question: Many Muslim put kohl in their eyes, and if they say they use it as adornment is haram, they say it is a sunnah. This is true?
Answer: Using kohl is prescribed in Islam, but is not allowed for a woman to show any of her adornment, whether kohl or anything else, to anyone else other than your husband or mahram, because Allah, the Exalted says thou be :
"And do not display their ornaments except to their husbands ..."
