Miswar bin Mahrama narrated:
"When Umar bin Khattab was stabbed he fainted and fell
unconscious. I entered the room to visit him. They had covered and he was lying. I asked those around him: How is he?
As you can see, he is unconscious, answered.
You have called for prayer? If he is alive nothing can scare him and wake him than prayer.
When they heard this, they said: The commander of the believers! The prayer has been prayed.
Umar woke up and said:
Is that so? By Allah, he who abandons prayer not
have nothing of Islam. He got up and made his prayer, while the
Blood flowed from his wounds. "
