Allah (swt) said in the Quran:
"O believers! Wine, gambling, the altar (on which the animals were butchered as offerings to the idols) and consult luck making use of arrows are a filthy work of Satan. Abstain from them, so you will have success. " (5:90 / 91) "wine" is all intoxicating. "Maisse" are gambling. "Altars" are idols, that is all that is worshiped instead of God, such as rocks, trees, statues, tombs and so on. "Arrows" are ways of referring to the future or fate, which leads him to take certain actions.
