On the authority of Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said:
Whosoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted) will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Judgement.
Whosoever alleviates (the lot of) a needy person, Allah will alleviate (his lot) in this world and the next. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the next. Allah will aid a servant (of His) so long as the servant aids his brother /sister.
 Whosoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. No people gather together in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, without tranquility descending upon them, mercy enveloping them, the angles surrounding them, and Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted) making mention of them amongst those who are with Him. Whosoever is slowed down by his actions will not be hastened forward by his lineage. (Muslim)
Hadrat Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that "my beloved friend" (the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) has enjoined five things upon me. He has commanded me to love and be close to the poor and the downtrodden, and he has commanded me to look at those in the world who are of lower rank than me, and not at those who are of higher rank, and he has commanded me to be kind to the kinsman and to preserve and keep intact the bond of kinship,
has commanded me to speak the truth at all times though it may be bitter for others, and he has commanded me to care nothing for the rebuke of those who revile and villify in the path of Allah, and he has commanded me to recite much the Kalima of Laa Hawla wa laa Qawwata Illaa Billah (there is no power or strength but in Allah) because all these things are from the treasure-house (of Allah) which is under the ninth heaven. (Ahmad)  ;

 Hadrat Al-Bara' bin 'Adhib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) gave us commands:
 gave us seven commands (NEAR OR FAR);
to accept invitations, to help people to fulfil their oaths, and to help the wronged;
 Narrated Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said, "The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a Mujahid (warrior) who fights for Allah's Cause, or like him who performs prayers all the night and fasts all the days." (Bukhari and Muslim);

Hadrat 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said: 'A true action leads to the path of virtue and good deeds, and virtue paves the way of a person to Paradise, and the said person continues to speak the truth till in the sight of Allah (The Glorified and The Exalted) he is named Siddiq (Truthful).

Lying leads to vice ( TO USE LAW FROM ALLAH CC IN MODIFICATION FOR TO DO YOURS WISHES OR WISHES FROM , EVEN PARENTS, IF  LIE, FOR EXAMPLE: USE SMS OR EMAIL FOR CARE PERSONALS MATTERS AS TO MARRY OR DIVORCE IS A LIE BIGGEST , TO TAKE A DUTY BY ALLAH ABOUT ANOTHER HUMAN, THEN LEFT, WITHOUT CARE THE NEEDINGS OF THE PARTNERS (partners in this life ) , ALSO all  THIS IS NOT RESPECT TO ANOTHER HUMAN, THEN NO VALUE HAVE IN ISLAM, EVEN IF A PARENTS OR LIDER RELIGIOUS SAY THAT IT IS RIGHT, BE CAREFULLY , THEY CAN BEING USED BY SHEYTHAN FOR TO MAKE YOU TO DESTROY ANOTHER LIFE AND YOUR, ALSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), and vice leads to indecent acts and if a person goes on lying, in the sight of Allah (The Glorified and The Exalted) he is named a liar.  Narrated Hadrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said, "Allah (The Glorified and The Exalted) is not merciful to him who is not merciful to men." (Bukhari and Muslim)

What Is Questioned on Judgment Day?

Continuing the series on the End of the World and the Resurrection, we present here a summary of the issues that will be posed to all souls on the Day of Judgment:

a) Belief in Allah and His Messengers

The most important question to be placed on that Day is the belief of the person, if he believed in the existence of Allah or associated with any partner to Him (ie did Shirk). Contained in the holy Qur'an:

"Then it will be said: Where are the (gods) that you used to worship besides Allah? They may, perhaps, help you, or help themselves? '

[Al-Qur'an 26:92-93]

"And (not to forget) the Day when He (Allah) will call them and say: Where are, after all, my partners imaginastes you?"

[Al-Qur'an 28:62]

"And they assign a portion of that which We have given them, the beings who know not (false gods), by Allah, you will certainly be questioned about everything inventastes.»

[Al-Qur'an 16:56]

Every soul will also be questioned about the Divine Messengers:

"And on the Day when He will call them and say: What answer these Messengers to you?

So, they can not think of any answer, they can not even ask each other. "

[Al-Qur'an 28:65-66]

b) Shares Practiced in the World

The human being will be questioned about the things he did during his life on earth:

"By your Lord! Certainly, interrogate them all about what they were doing. "

[Al-Qur'an 15:92-93]

"Without doubt, we interrogate those who were sent to (our) message, as well as interrogate the Messengers."

[Al-Qur'an 7:6]

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "Man will not move on the Day of Resurrection without being questioned about four things: life, as passed; knowledge, as applied; wealth, as acquired and spent; the body, as used "[Tirmizhi]. And in another narration, the same source also stated "the youth, as passed."

c) Promises and Covenants

The promises and covenants that people had done, will be questioned as to their compliance:

"And yet, had previously concluded a covenant with Allah, whereby never return back (before the enemy), and they will have to answer for pact concluded with Allah."

[Al-Qur'an 33:15]

In addition, any promising lawful people have made between them, will be questioned about their compliance with:

"And do not go near the property of the orphan except in the best way, until it reaches maturity, and fulfill the promise, for surely you will be questioned (on the Day of Resurrection) about the promise."

[Al-Qur'an 17:34]

d) Hearing, Vision and Heart

All that the person heard, seen or followed deliberately be brought to trial:

"And follow not that of which thou hast no knowledge, in fact, hearing, sight and hearts will all be questioned."

[Al-Qur'an 17:36]

Qatadah (RTA) said: "Do not say" I saw "while not seen," I heard "while not listened or" I know "while you do not know, because Allah will question you about all this" [Ibn Tafssir Kacir].

These passages serve as a warning to people because of "blindly following" certain aspects, whether related to religion as not, about which there is no concrete proof. The same verse also proves that Allah has forbidden to speak without knowledge, ie, make conjectures and suspicions based on imagination.

It has no sacred Al-Qur'an:

"O believers! Shun a lot of suspicions, for some suspicions are sins. And not espieis not speak evil of one another in the back (Ghibat); any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You detestais it. And fear Allah to undoubtedly Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. "

[Al-Qur'an 49:12]

And given that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the kind of speech more false [Bukhari, Musslim].

e) Donations honored in Life

Being-in-the questionado also about inhuma gifts with which ALLAH has graced us:

"After then, you will be questioned that Day about the pleasures (enjoyed in the World). '

[Al-Qur'an 102:8]

In fact, the gifts given are many and numerous that certainly are impossible to tell:

"And you gave it to YOU ​​pedistes tudo, tentardes have been (repeatedly) the favors of Allah, never conseguiríeis fazer. In fact, the Homem is VERY injusto, extremely ungrateful. "

[Al-Qur'an 14:34]

Some of these gifts are indispensable (essential) to life and others are secondary (extra). Belong to the first group gifts such as air, water, food, health, etc.. and second we find all that is really beyond essential to our existence.

This latter type of donations varies with each person, was or region, as there are things that do not exist in a particular era or that are not known in a certain region. The truth is that what the person has enjoyed in life, you will be questioned about it on the Day of Judgment.

Abu Huraira (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "The first question that will be put to the person on the Day of Quiyámah about the delights of this world will be: not given you a healthy body does not have satisfied your thirst with fresh water? "[Tirmizhi].

Often, we do not value the gifts that Allah bestow us, we do not know that we appreciate the food to feed us, water to quench thirst, a roof where to live, wives, children, etc.. We think gift refers to having luxury items such as cars eccentric, mansions, farms and lead a life of luxury and pomp, we always aim for those who are "above" us in these aspects, forgetting those who live in worse conditions.

Reportedly a narration reported by Musslim where a man asked Abdullah ibn Amr (RTA): "Are we not among the poor emigrants'? Abdullah (RTA) asked him: "You have no wife to whom retornas the end of the day?", It replied: 'Yes', 'You have no house to live?', It replied: 'Yes'. Herein, Abdullah (RTA) said: "So you're one of the rich ', the man said:" I am still an employee who serves me ", it exclaimed:" So you're one of the kings! ».

And according to another Hadith, the Prophet (SAW) said: "There are two graces that many people do not appreciate: health and free time" [Bukhari]. And also said: "For those who fear Allah, there is nothing wrong with being rich, but for those who fear Allah, health is better than wealth and a good disposition is part of the gifts" [Ahmad].

Abu Huraira (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "The Lord will go to His servant (on Judgment Day) and say," O so and so! Do not honored making you a prominent, giving you wife, you subduing horses and camels and making you a leader? " He will say: "Certainly." Allah will say: "You knew you were going to find you with me"? He will say: "No". Allah will say: "I will forget you (let you) like you have forgotten me."

Then Allah will drive the second (slave) and say, "O so and so! Do not honored making you a prominent, giving you wife, you subduing horses and camels and making you a leader? " He will say: "Certainly." Allah will say: "You knew you were going to find you with me"? He will say: "No". Allah will say: "I will forget you (let you) like you have forgotten me."

Then Allah will address the third and say the same. This servant will answer: "I believe in Thee, in Thy Books and Messengers, I prayed, fasted and gave charity," and praise yourself. Allah will say: "Let's stop here," and will say again: "Now send against you." The servant who would think the witnesses against him, so Allah will seal his mouth and said to be his thigh, meat and bones, "Speak", and thigh, meat and bones will talk about their actions, and will be proclaimed the evidence against it. This will be hypocritical about whom Allah will be angry "[Musslim].

One of the reasons for which a person will be questioned about the lust and usually with the gifts that had been bestowed, is also to ascertain whether she was grateful and fulfilled the responsibilities that are required of those who receive them.

If the person is ungrateful and excuse yourself to recognize everything that Allah grants him, he is furious as noted in a Hadith in which the Prophet (SAW) said: "Indeed, Allah is pleased with His servant when he praises the eat or drink something "[Musslim].

Different Types of Judgement

The ultimate judgment of each will be accomplished in several ways, making it easy for some and extremely difficult for others.

Some will be admitted to Paradise without any accountability, which will not be more than seventy thousand believers, considered "elite" of humanity. There will still be those whose judgment will be easy, because it does not discuss the content of their records and will be shown the sins that have been forgiven. Allah says:

"Then he who is given his book (actions) in their right hand, this easy to get a trial."

[Al-Qur'an 84:7-8]

Aisha (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "No one shall be called to account on the Day of Quiyámah without being punished." She objected: "O Messenger of Allah! So Allah did not say: "... he who is given his book (actions) in their right hand, this will have an easy trial. '" The Prophet (SAW) replied: "This is only the presentation of accounts; however, no one will be questioned (in detail) on the Day of Quiyámah without being punished "[Bukhari, Musslim].

First Obligation to Be Required

Among the obligations that we have before Allah, the first of which will be required is the Salát. If your practice is in order, then we will have success and prosperity, otherwise we are completely lost and condemned.

Abu Huraira (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "The first obligation of the individual will be called to account on the Day of Quiyámah will be on your Salát if it complies, then he will be successful and prosperous, but if evil, will be lost and condemned. If you are missing something in Salátes required, the Lord will say: "Verificai (in the registry) if My servant has any Salát optional and utilizai them to complete what is missing in Salátes required." Then all his actions will be reviewed in this way "[Tirmizhi, Nassaí and Ibn Majah].

Sincerity in Actions

Abu Huraira (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "On the Day of Quiyámah, Allah will come before His servants to judge between them, and all the people are kneeling. The first to be called is the one who learned the entire Qur'an, (below) who was killed by the Divine Cause and (later) the rich.

ALLAH tried every one who has learned the Qur'an: "Do not teach you what I revealed to My Messenger"? Answer: "Yes, my Lord!" Allah will say: "What did you do with what you taught?" Answer: "I used to stand (in prayer and recite) at night and during the day." Allah will say: "You're lying," and the angels will say: "You lie." Allah will say: "You wanted only to be told that such and such (guy) is reciter (of the Qur'an), and it has been said (ie, has been rewarded in the World)."

The following will be the one who had brought much wealth and Allah tried him: "Do not blessed you abundantly, so that you had no need for anyone else"? Answer: "Yes, my Lord!" Allah will say: "What did you do with what I gave you?" Answer: "I used to support the family and give in charity." Allah will say: "You're lying," and the angels will say: "You lie." Allah will say: "You wanted only to be told that such and such (guy) is generous, and it has been said.

It will then be brought who was killed by the Divine Cause and Allah tried him: "Because you were dead"? Answer: "I was ordered to join me in Jihad for His Cause, fought until he was killed." Allah will say: "You're lying," and the angels will say: "You lie." Allah will say: "You wanted only to be told that such and such (guy) is angry, and it has been said."

Then the Prophet (SAW) tapped me on the knee and said, "O Abu Huraira! These three will be the first among the creatures of Allah for which the fire will be stoked on the Day of Quiyámah ". '

Each Servo Testemunhará their sins

Abdullah ibn Umar (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Allah will approach the believer Si, house it will and will cover it and then say," You recognize such and such a sin? " Answer: "Yes, my Lord", and recognize their sins thinking that is doomed. Then Allah will say: "I concealed them for you in the world and they forgave thee this day," and you will be given the book of good deeds.

But for the unbelievers and hypocrites witnesses say, "And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah? These people will be brought before their Lord, and the witnesses will say: These are they who lied against their Lord. Lo! The curse of Allah be upon the unjust [Al-Qur'an 11:18] " . '

According to the commentary of Imam Qurtubi, the word "house" used earlier in the Hadith means that Allah will house the believer with His kindness and generosity, directing you to the gentle and conciliatory, remember you will of His blessings and show it to the favors granted to him [At-Tazhkirah].

We will be Rebuked For Our Failures

Abu Huraira (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Allah will say on the Day of Quiyámah:" O son of Ádam! I was sick and you DO NOT visited . " (* me too, also, even do not asked about  :´  )
Answer:! Lord! You would like to visit when Thou art the Lord of the Worlds "? AllahCC will say: "Did you not know that My servant so and so was sick and you did not you visited? Did not you know that if you had visited, you would have found Me with him? "

(And say :) "O son of Ádam! You ask Me no food and you fed them. " Answer: "O Lord! How could I feed Thee when Thou art the Lord of the Worlds "? Allah will say: "Did you not know that My servant so and so asked you the food and you have not fed them? Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found Me with him? "

(And say :) "O son of Ádam! I asked you something to drink and you gave Me not to drink. " Answer: "O Lord! How could I give You to drink when You are the Lord of the Worlds "? Allah will say: "Did you not know that My servant so and so asked you to drink this and you do not drink? You did not know if he'd given to drink, you would have found Me with him? "'

We will be Rebuked For Our Failures

Abu Huraira (RTA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Allah will say on the Day of Quiyámah:" O son of Ádam! I was sick and you visited Me not you. " Answer:! Lord! You would like to visit when Thou art the Lord of the Worlds "? Allah will say: "Did you not know that My servant so and so was sick and you did not you visited? Did not you know that if you had visited, you would have found Me with him? "

(And say :) "O son of Ádam! You ask Me no food and you fed them. " Answer: "O Lord! How could I feed Thee when Thou art the Lord of the Worlds "? Allah will say: "Did you not know that My servant so and so asked you the food and you have not fed them? Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found Me with him? "

(And say :) "O son of Ádam! I asked you something to drink and you gave Me not to drink. " Answer: "O Lord! How could I give You to drink when You are the Lord of the Worlds "? Allah will say: "Did you not know that My servant so and so asked you to drink this and you do not drink? You did not know if he'd given to drink, you would have found Me with him? "'

Types Of Shirk (Associating Others In Worship With Allah)

Shirk (associating others with Allah in His Divinity or worship) is the opposite of Tawhid (belief in the Oneness of Allah/monotheism). Shirk is of three kinds, but actually it is of two kinds: Major Shirk and Minor Shirk.

Major Shirk: It involves the devotion of all or some acts of ‘Ibadah (worship) to anyone or anything other than Allah. It also involves abstinence from performing some of the Ma‘lum minad-din biddarurah (necessarily known religious principles) ordained by Allah, such as offering Salah (Prayer) and observing Sawm (Fast) in Ramadan, or denial of some matters prohibited by Allah, which fall under the Ma‘lum minad-din biddarurah, such as Zina (premarital sexual intercourse and/or adultery), drinking Khamr (intoxicant) and the like. It may involve obedience to a human in violating the Commands of the Creator and deeming this violation as Halal (lawful), or obeying any man or woman, whether a president, a minister, a scientist or others, in opposing the Religion of Allah (may He be Glorified and Exalted). Certainly, everything that involves devoting any part of worship to anyone other than Allah, such as supplicating to Awliya’ (pious people), seeking their assistance or making vows to them, or involves deeming lawful what Allah has prohibited or annulling what Allah has ordained such as believing that Salah, Sawm, Hajj in spite of capability to perform it, or Zakah (obligatory charity) are not obligatory or absolutely impermissible, all this constitutes Major Kufr (disbelief) and Major Shirk, because this is a sort of contradicting Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wassallam).

Consequently, whoever deems lawful what Allah has prohibited from the Ma‘lum minad-din biddarurah such as Zina, Khamr and undutifulness to parents or believes in the permissibility of banditry, sodomy, Riba (usury/interest) or the like of the acts that are well-known to be prohibited by authority of the Nas (Islamic text from the Qur’an or the Sunnah) and Ijma‘ (consensus of scholars) is unanimously a Kafir (disbeliever)

- may Allah safeguard us - and will come under the same ruling as those who commit acts of Major Shirk.

The same ruling applies to anyone who mocks and ridicules religion, they will be guilty of major Kufr (disbelief), as Allah (may He be Glorified and Exalted) says: Surah At-Tawbah, 9: v65 Say: "Was it at Allâh (عز وجل), and His Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations) and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) that you were mocking?" Surah At-Tawbah, 9: v66 Make no excuse; you disbelieved after you had believed. The same applies to making little of any matter glorified by Allah out of contempt and disdain, such as irreverence to the Mus-haf (Qur’aan-book), urinating over it, stepping on it, sitting on it or the like; the doer of this is a Kafir (disbeliever) by Ijma‘, because by doing so they belittle and disdain Allah Himself (may He be Glorified). The Qur’aan is the Word of Allah (may He be Exalted). Anyone who belittles the Qur’aan is belittling Allah (may He be Glorified and Exalted). Scholars have explained such issues under the chapter of "The Ruling on the Murtad (apostate from Islam)". In each of the Four Madh-habs (Hanafy, Maliky, Shafi‘y, and Hanbaly) they conducted a chapter called "Chapter of the Ruling on the Murtad", in which they explained all types of Kufr (disbelief) and Dalal (deviation from what is right). It is actually a noteworthy chapter, especially in this time where many types of Riddah (apostasy) have spread out and many people are confused about such matters. Therefore, if someone pays due attention to this chapter, they will know the nullifiers of Islam, acts leading to Riddah and types of Kufr and Dalal.

The other type: Minor Shirk are the acts established by the Islamic texts of Qur’aan and Sunnah as falling under the term "Shirk", but still they do not tantamount to major Shirk. They are called minor Shirk, such as Riya’ (doing good deeds for show) and seeking reputation, as when reciting the Qur’aan, offering Salah or calling to the Path of Allah and the like for the sake of showing off. It is authentically reported that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “The thing that I fear most for you is minor Shirk.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah! What is minor Shirk?” He said, “Riya’. Truly, Allah (may He be Blessed and Exalted) shall say on the Day the servants shall be recompensed for their deeds, ‘Go to those for whom you were showing off with your deeds in worldly life and see if you can find with them recompense.’” (Related by Imam Ahmad with authentic Isnad [chain of narrators] on the authority of Mahmud Ibn Labid Al-Ashhaly Al-Ansary [may Allah be pleased with him]). It was also narrated by At-Tabarany, Al-Baihaqy and some other narrators as Hadith Mursal (a Hadith with no Companion of the Prophet in the chain of narration) on the authority of Mahmud, who was previously mentioned. This narrator, Mahmud, was a young Sahabi (Companion of the Prophet) who did not hear any Hadith from the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam). But the Hadith Mursal narrated by the Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) are Sahih (authentic) and used as evidence by the scholars and some scholars reported this as a consensus.

An example for that kind of Shirk is when a Servant (of Allah) says, "What Allah wills and so-and-so wills", "Were it not for Allah and so-and-so", or "This is from Allah and so-and-so".

All this is considered minor Shirk according to the Hadith narrated by Abu Dawud, with an authentic Isnad, from Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “Do not say, ‘What Allah wills and so-and-so wills,’ but say, ‘What Allah wills, then afterwards what so-and-so wills.’”

This includes also the Hadith narrated by An-Nasa’i from Qutailah that “A Jew came to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) and said, ‘You commit Shirk, as you say, ‘What Allah wills and what you will.’ You also say, ‘By the Ka‘bah (when you swear).’ Therefore, the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) ordered them, whenever they needed to swear, to say, ‘By the Lord of the Ka‘bah’ and to say, ‘What Allah wills, then afterwards what you will.’” According to another report by An-Nasa’i on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that A man once said to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam), “O Messenger of Allah! Whatever Allah wills and you will.” He (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “Have you made me an equal to Allah! It is whatever Allah alone wills.” Included also is the authentically reported interpretation of Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) for the Saying of Allah (may He be Exalted), Surah Al-Baqarah, 2: v22 Then do not set up rivals unto Allâh (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be worshipped). in which he (Ibn ‘Abbas) said: “Shirk in this Ummah (nation based on one creed) is more subtle than the creeping of ants on a black rock in the darkness of night. One falls into it by saying, ‘By Allah and by your life, O so-and-so, and by my life.’ Also, when one says, ‘Had it not been for the dog, the thieves would have attacked us,’ or when one says, ‘Had it not been for ducks in the house, the thieves would have entered.’ Moreover, when one says, ‘What Allah wills and you will’ and ‘Had it not been for the Help of Allah and the help of so-and-so.’ So do not mention so-and-so with Allah, because all these sayings include Shirk.” (Related by Ibn Abu Hatim with an authentic Isnad)

Such sayings and the like fall under minor Shirk, which also includes swearing by anyone or anything other than Allah such as swearing by the Ka‘bah, the Prophets, Amanah (honesty), the life of so-and-so, the honor of so-and-so and others. All these are acts of minor Shirk, based on the Hadith authentically reported in the Musnad (Hadith compilation) with an authentic Isnad on the authority of ‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “Anyone who swears by other than Allah has committed Shirk (associated others with Allah in His Divinity or in worship).” It was narrated by Imam Ahmad, Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi (may Allah be merciful to them) with an authentic Isnad from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “Anyone who swears by other than Allah has committed Kufr (disbelief) or Shirk (associated others with Allah in His Divinity or in worship).”

The narrator might be doubtful about the exact letter, whether it was "or" or "and"; it might be also that "or" is with the meaning of "and", so the meaning will be "has committed Kufr and Shirk". In this respect, we mention the Hadith narrated by the Two Shaykhs (i.e. Al-Bukhari and Muslim) from ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “Anyone who has to take an oath should swear by Allah or else remain silent.” There are many Hadiths in this respect.

These are some types of minor Shirk, but they may involve major Shirk depending on the intention of the one who swears. If the one who swears by the Prophet, Al-Badawy or shaykh so-and-so, intends to equates him with Allah, invokes him besides Allah, believes that he has any power in this universe as Allah or the like, then such acts and ‘Aqidah (creed) of theirs are major Shirk. If someone swears by anything other than Allah and does not have such intentions and beliefs, but they say it out of habit, with no such intentions, this will be considered minor Shirk.

There is another kind of Skirk called Shirk Khafi (hidden Shirk). Some scholars classed it as the third type of Shirk giving evidence to support it from the Hadith narrated by Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “Should I not inform you of what I fear more for you than Al-Masih-ul-Dajjal (the Antichrist)?” The people said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “It is the hidden Shirk; a person stands up in Salah (Prayer) and tries to make it perfect when he realizes that others are looking at him.” (Related by Imam Ahmad)

As a matter of fact, this is not a third type but it falls under the minor Shirk. It may be hidden, because the intention lies within the heart just as described in the previous Hadith. Other examples, when someone recites Qur’aan perfectly out of Riya’, propagates virtue and prevents vice out of Riya’, fights in the Cause of Allah out of Riya’ or the like.

It may be considered hidden Shirk in terms of the legal ruling on some types of people like those mentioned in the previous Hadith of Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them). The hidden Shirk can also be major Shirk even though it is hidden, such as the belief of hypocrites. They show off in front of people with their apparent deeds, yet they do not reveal their hidden Kufr (disbelief). This is clarified in the Saying of Allah (may He be Exalted): Surah An-Nisaa', 4: v142 Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allâh, but it is He Who deceives them. And when they stand up for As-Salât (the prayer), they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allâh but little. Surah An-Nisaa', 4: v143 (They are) swaying between this and that, belonging neither to these nor to those.

There are many Ayahs concerning their Kufr and Riya’, may Allah safeguard us!

Accordingly, the hidden Shirk is related to the previous two types: major Shirk and minor Shirk, even if it is called "Khafy (hidden)", as Shirk can be hidden and can be obvious.

Shirk Jaly (obvious Shirk) is manifested in: invoking the dead, seeking their help, vowing for them and the like.

Shirk Khafi is: what remains hidden in the hearts of the hypocrites who offer Salah along with people and observe Sawm with people, while inwardly they are really Kafirs (disbelievers). They believe in the permissibility of worshiping idols and sculptures, and so actually they embrace the religion of Mushriks (those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity or worship). This is the reality of the hidden Shirk, because it lies deep in the hearts.

The minor hidden Shirk is represented in acts like reciting the Qur’aan, offering Salah, giving out Sadaqah (voluntary charity) and the like seeking praise from people. This is hidden Shirk, but it is minor.

Thus, it becomes clear that Shirk is of two types: major and minor and each of them can be hidden. It can be major hidden Shirk, such as that of the hypocrites. It can be minor hidden Shirk, such as the acts of those who commit Riya’ in their Salah, Sadaqah, supplication to Allah, propagation of virtue and prevention of vice or the like.

Each Mu’min (believer) should beware of such acts and abstain from these types, especially major Shirk. It is the most grievous sin to be committed against Allah and the gravest crime a human can commit. Regarding this type of Shirk, Allah (may He be Glorified and Exalted) says: Surah Al-An'aam, 6: v88 But if they had joined in worship others with Allâh, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them. Surah Al-Maa'idah, 5: v72 Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allâh, then Allâh has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. and: Surah Al-Nisaa', 4: v48 Verily, Allâh forgives not that partners should be set up with Him (in worship), but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He wills.

Consequently, whoever dies while committing acts of major Shirk, they will absolutely be one of the dwellers of Hellfire, forbidden from entering Paradise, and will eternally abide in Hellfire. We seek refuge with Allah from this (punishment).

Regarding minor Shirk, it is one of the gravest of major sins and those who commit it are extremely endangered. They may be forgiven for committing acts of minor Shirk by the preponderance of their good deeds. Otherwise, they may be punished for this by being admitted into the Fire for some time, but they will not abide there eternally as the Kafirs. Minor Shirk neither enjoins eternal dwelling in the Hellfire nor nullifies good deeds, but it nullifies the acts associated with it.

Minor Shirk nullifies the acts associated with it. For example, if someone offers Salah out of Riya’ (doing good deeds for show), they will not be rewarded for it; rather, they will be punished for such a sin.

If someone recites Qur’aan out of Riya’, they will not be rewarded for it; rather, they will be punished for such a sin. Minor Shirk is unlike major Shirk and major Kufr (disbelief) as they nullify all good deeds. Allah (may He be Exalted) says: Surah Al-An'aam, 6: v88 But if they had joined in worship others with Allâh, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them.

It is the duty of every man and woman, every scholar and student and every Muslim to pay much attention and ponder on this matter. Thus, they should know the essence of Tawhid (belief in the Oneness of Allah) and its types, the reality of Shirk and its two types - major and minor, take the initiative to repent to Allah sincerely from the acts of major or minor Shirk they may have committed. They should abide by Tawhid, hold fast to the right path, adhere to the obedience of Allah and pay Allah His due rights. Tawhid has rights to be done, such as carrying out Faridahs (obligatory acts) and abstaining from the prohibitions. They should also abstain from all types of Shirk, both minor and major.

Major Shirk is against Tawhid and is absolutely against Islam. Minor Shirk is against the dutiful perfection of one’s Islam; therefore, Muslims should abstain from both of them.

We should all bear this matter in our minds, learn about it well and warn people against it carefully and clearly. Thus, a Muslim becomes fully aware of all such grave matters.

«Actions Practiced in the World

The human being will be questioned about the things he did during his life on earth:

"By your Lord! Certainly, interrogate them all about what they were doing. "

[Al-Qur'an 15:92-93]

"Without doubt, we interrogate those who were sent to (our) message, as well as interrogate the Messengers."

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "Man will not move on the Day of Resurrection without being questioned about four things: life, as passed; knowledge, as applied; wealth, as acquired and spent; the body, as used "[Tirmizhi]. And in another narration, the same source also stated "the youth, as passed."
c) Promises and Covenants

The promises and covenants that people had done, will be questioned as to their compliance:

"And yet, had previously concluded a covenant with Allah, whereby never return back (before the enemy), and they will have to answer for pact concluded with Allah."

[Al-Qur'an 33:15]

In addition, any promising lawful people have made between them, will be questioned about their compliance with:

"And do not go near the property of the orphan except in the best way, until it reaches maturity, and fulfill the promise, for surely you will be questioned (on the Day of Resurrection) about the promise."

.our Beloved Prophet Mohammad(sallallahu alayhi wassallam) said, “The thing that I fear most for you is minor Shirk.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah! What is minor Shirk?” He said, “Riya’. Truly, Allah (may He be Blessed and Exalted) shall say on the Day the servants shall be recompensed for their deeds, ‘Go to those for whom you were showing off with your deeds in worldly life and see if you can find with them recompense.’” (Related by Imam Ahmad with authentic Isnad [chain of narrators] on the authority of Mahmud Ibn Labid Al-Ashhaly Al-Ansary [may Allah be pleased with him]). It was also narrated by At-Tabarany, Al-Baihaqy and some other narrators as Hadith Mursal (a Hadith with no Companion of the Prophet in the chain of narration) on the authority of Mahmud, who was previously mentioned. This narrator, Mahmud, was a young Sahabi (Companion of the Prophet) who did not hear any Hadith from the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wassallam). But the Hadith Mursal narrated by the Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) are Sahih (authentic) and used as evidence by the scholars and some scholars reported this as a consensus.

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.



Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies God, because He is the Mighty, the Wise.

O you who believe, why do not you say what you do?

It is greatly hateful before God dizerdes what you do not.

Verily, Allah loves those who fight in ranks for His sake, as if they were a solid cemented structure.

Ways of Satan to the Hearts of Men

The example of the heart is like that of a fortress, and Satan is an enemy who seeks to storm this fortress, to take control ofit, and to rule over it. Moreover, any fortress cannot be said to be secure from the enemy except when its entrances are guarded, and the gaps in its walls are vigilantly watched over. Therefore, he who is not wholly familiar with his fortress walls cannot guard them. Guarding the heart against the evil promptings of Satan is a prescribed duty and an individual obligation upon every Muslim who is mukallaf (mature, fully responsible person from the Islamic Shari'ah view). There is no doubt that the best defense against Satan's raids on one's heart may be achieved by recognizing the heart's entrances that Satan takes to deliver his venom. Knowing these ways and entrances is the first line of defense against Satan. Therefore, this knowledge becomes an obligation-as it is stated in the well known fiqh principle that: That which is indispensably connected with fulfilling an obligation is itself obligatory. The entrances of Satan are in effect the qualities or traits of man, and they are many. But we shall in the following refer to the principal ones: Anger and Lust
Anger, as it is rightly said, is the ogre of the intellect. When the levies of the intellect weaken, Satan's forces assail, and whenever man becomes angry, Satan plays with him just as a lad does with a ball. It is related that a saint once asked Satan, "Show me how you overcome a person." He replied, "I take him while in anger or desire." In another story, it was said that Satan appeared to an ascetic who asked him, "What qualities of the sons of Adam are most helpful to you?" Satan answered, "Quickness of temper; for if a man is quick-tempered, I can turn him upside down just as lads toss a ball."
Envy and Greed
Also among the great breaches through which Satan's mischief sneaks into peoples' hearts is envy (hasad) and greed (hirs). For whenever a man is greedy for anything, his greed renders him blind and deaf, as the Prophet, sallallahu alayhe wa sallam, said, "Your love for something blinds and deafens." (Abu Dawud, through a week chain since one of the narrators, Abu Bakr ibn abi Matiyam is weak, but the hadeeth meaning is correct). The light of insight detects Satan's entrances, but if envy and greed becloud it, man's ability to distinguish good from evil is compromised and, as a result, Satan's hand is strengthened. He adorns, in the eye of the greedy one, everything that leads to the realization of this desire, even if it is condemned and immoral. It is related that when Prophet Nuh (Noah) entered the ark he took into it a pair of every sort as instructed by Allah to do so. One day, Nuh saw in the ark an old man whom he did not recognize. Therefore, Nuh said to him, "Who are you and what are you doing here?" The old man said, "I'm Satan and I came to dominate the hearts of your followers, so that their hearts would be with me and their bodies with you." So Nuh said to him, "Get out from here, 0 enemy of Allah." Satan answered, "You know Prophet Nuh, I destroy mankind by means of five things, and I shall disclose to you three of them, but I shall withhold from you the other two." Allah then revealed to Nuh, "You do not need the three but ask him about the two." So Nuh said to Satan, "Never mind the three and tell me about the two? " He replied, "They are the two which never fail me, and I use them to destroy man; they are: greed and envy. For through envy I incurred divine ,curse and as for greed, the whole Paradise was permitted to Adam save one tree, but I made the best out of him through greed." .
 Satiety of Food (shiba’)
Another great way Satan takes to men's hearts is satiety of food, even when it is lawful and pure. Satiety strengthens the lusts, and lusts are weapons that come in handy for Satan. It is related that Satan appeared to Prophet Yahya ibn Zakariyah who saw hooks of every sort attached to him (i.e, Satan). Therefore, Yahya asked, "What are these hooks on You?" Satan replied, "These are the lusts bv which I hunt the son of Adam." Yahya asked, " Do you have any of them?" Satan answered, "Perhaps you became surfeited with food and thus we made salah and dhikr (remembrance of Allah) a burden to you." Yahya asked, "What else?" Satan answered, "Nothing other than what I told you." So Yahya said, "By Allah! I shall never eat my fill again." Satan replied, "And, by Allah, I shall never again give a sincere advice to a Muslim." It is said that there are six blameworthy qualities in overeating: First, it banishes fear of Allah from one's heart. Second, it rids one's heart of compassion towards humankind, for he supposes that they are all satiated. Third, it makes ibadah (worship) a burden. Fourth, if he hears wise speech, he finds nothing graceful in it. Fifth, if he speaks in admonition, it makes no impression on his listeners. Sixth, it stirs up disease within him.
 Love of Adornment
Also of Satan's great entrances to believers' hearts is the love of adornment in furnishings, attire, and residence. When Satan sees this quality dominant in one's heart, he sets up his camp in that heart and indwells it, and keeps on bidding him to make the house more adorable, to adorn its ceiling and walls, and to extend its walls. He invites him also to adorn his apparel and his mounts, and seeks to enslave him therein his whole life long. In addition, when man succumbs to Satan in this, the latter will have no need to busy himself with him again; for, like a vicious circle, one phase of this leads on to another until he meets his death embroiled in the wicked snares of Satan.
Hastiness (‘Ajalah)
Also of Satan's great doors is haste and lack of resoluteness in affairs. Allah says, "Man is created of haste," (21: 38) and again, "And man was ever hasty." [17:12] And He, subhanahu wa ta'ala, says to his Messenger, "Hasten not the Qur' an until the inspiration is completed for you." [20: 113] Also, The Prophet, sallallahu alayhe wa sallam, said, "Haste is from Satan and calculated action is from Allah." (Tirmithi) This is because actions should follow insightful understanding (tabsirah) and experiential knowledge. Insightful understanding requires reflection (ta'ammul) and unhurried action (tamahhul), but haste precludes this. For when man seeks to make haste, Satan readily dispenses to him his own evil from whence the man knows not.
