The Story of Prophet Ayyub (Job) (A.S.).
By Kamal al-Sayyid
A man from the descendants of Yusuf (AS) lived in the land of Hawran 2500 years ago. This man was the Prophet Ayyub (A.S.). Ayyub was a God-fearing man, married a girl named Rahma. Rahma also a descendant of Yusuf (A.S.). Rahma Ayyub and lived happily. They believed in Allah and his prophets. Allah, the Glorified, Ayyub graced with sons and daughters. Ayyub had ownership of land filled with fields and pastures. Ayyub cattle grazing in these areas. Ayuub worshiped only Allah and not associate anything to him to follow the religion of their fathers Abraham, Isaac and Ya'qub. One day the angels came to Ayyub and announced the good news of the prophecy. Thus, Ayyub bowed and thanked Allah for the gift of prophecy. Ayyub was a godly man. Allah bestowed with the prophecy, so all loved him.

Ayyub's house was great. He settled his sons and daughters and also stored seeds and food in it. The Prophet Ayyub loved the poor. He donated food and clothing to the needy. It was his custom to invite an orphan or a poor to dine with him. The poor came to the house of Ayyub from distant places and he supplied with food and clothes and so returned to their homes to care for their children. All the people loved Ayyub.

The House of Ayyub

One day an old man came to the house of Ayyub. Greeted him saying, "Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah." "Peace and mercy of Allah be with you" said Ayyub. "Please come. Are you in between your house and your family. "" May Allah increase the dignity of Ayyub, "said the elder," You see, I am an old man. I'm starving children. O Prophet of Allah, who feed and clothe the poor. " The Prophet Ayyub said to the man with a sad voice: "O old man, thou art a stranger?" "No, O Prophet of Allah," the elder replied, "I am the land of Hawran '.

Ayyub felt greater anguish, and exclaimed: "How selfish I am! My home is full of groceries and you're hungry!" The elder replied: "It's my fault. I never asked for anything to you before." Ayyub turned to his sons and said: "Why do not fear the wrath of Allah? Why spend the night satisfied as long as there are old people and children starving Hawran? "Your children have apologized for that and then said:" We often look for the needy. But do not find them. "Ayyub said bitterly:" What this old man? "" Forgive us, "the sons of Ayyub asked." Come on! Now send food and clothing to the home of this old man! "He ordered Ayyub." We hear and obey the Prophet, "they said.

The Prophet Ayyub lived this way in his big house. He worked in their fields and farms. Milled wheat his wife and daughters and servants helped her. The sons of Ayyub carrying groceries and clothing to the homes of the needy. His servants worked on their land and carried the fruits and seeds for their warehouses. The shepherds drove the cattle to pasture fields Ayyub. Ayyub thanked Allah to increase their property and their children.

Ayyub believed in Allah. Thank Him for His blessings. Ayyub helped everyone. Farms, fields, cattle, and many children did not make him an ingrate, so that people loved him. The people loved him because they knew that Ayyub was a blessed man and one of the prophets of Allah, so they believed in Allah, the Supreme Giver.

Satan

Satan envied him. Ayyub wanted his people to follow the path of divine guidance and good. Satan, in turn, wanted people to follow the path of evil and the loss of the divine path, so he whispered to them, saying: "Ayyub afraid that Allah remove their properties. For this reason it serves. If Ayyub was poor, would not serve Allah nor prostrate himself to Him"
The people listened to the whisperings of Satan and believed in him. The people of Hawran often repeated the words of Satan: "Ayyub Allah bestowed with blessings, and Ayyub suits. He is afraid that Allah will deprive him of his blessings. If the misfortune to meet, he will cease his worship of Allah. If a ray burning their fields, it will become impatient. If Allah deprive you of your blessings, Ayyub no longer worships it. "

The Test

Allah, the Glorified, just wanted to show people the lies of Satan. I wanted to show people Ayyub loyalty, patience and faith. Thus, they began testing Ayyub. The misfortunes began to hit him, one after another. We will see to what extent the Prophet Ayyub was patient and faithful.

Everything was as usual. Ayyub was prostrated and thanked Allah for His blessings and favors. His children carried groceries in search of the poor, the needy and travelers. His servants worked on their farms and stored produce. Rahma, the wife of the Prophet Ayyub, milled grain. Some servants carrying wood, others brought water from the source. The shepherds tending cattle on the prairies. Everything was going smoothly. At that moment, Satan appeared. Rejoiced and laughed. Suddenly, a pastor came panting to Ayyub and asked: "Where is the Prophet of Allah, Ayyub?" "What happened?" Ayyub said, "Speak." "They killed them!" the pastor replied, "They killed all my friends. They killed the shepherds and the settlers. They killed everyone! shed his blood on the rocks!" "What?" Ayyub said. "Evil men attacked us," the pastor replied, "They took the herd. They took the sheep and cows and left."

The storm did not shake the mountain. The Prophet Ayyub felt embittered, yet remained patient. He said firmly: "In Allah we belong and to Him we return."

Allah, the Glorified, wanted to test Ayyub. I wanted to test his faith in the Lord of the Worlds. I wonder if Ayyub be patient or not.

The next day something extraordinary happened. Dark clouds gathered in the sky. Thunder sounded and lightning struck the earth. One of the pastors came. His clothes were burned and his face darkened.

The Prophet Ayyub asked him: "What happened?" 'Fire! Prophet of Allah, fire! " said the pastor. "It's another misfortune?" Said Ayyub. "Yes," replied the pastor, "O Prophet of Allah, all burned. A misfortune came down from heaven. Rays torched fields and farms, our land has become ashes. All my friends are dead." Rahma said: "All the misfortunes of the world affect us!" "Rahma, be patient," advises Ayuub, "this is the will of Allah. '" Will of Allah! "I exclaimed Rahma." Yes, "said Ayyub," began the testing time. Allah tests the heart of all the prophets. "Ayyub looked at the sky and said humbly:" Lord, grant me patience. "

The Prophet Ayyub ordered his servants and maids to leave their home. I told them with kindness: "I went back to your families. Look for another place. Allah, the Exalted, will test me." One of the servants Ayyub said: "We are ready to repair the fields and properties. We would not want to leave you. O Prophet of Allah, believe in you and love you." Ayyub explained: "Friends, I know, however, the test is hard. I do not want you you may be destroyed because of me. Friends, go back to your families. Let me face the ordeal alone."

Ayyub was how patient! Fields and properties Ayuub burned and become ashes. All his flock died. Ayyub faced other misfortunes: all his children died. None of them survived, but his good wife, Rahma. The home of Ayyub was no child. Ayyub was an old man. His wife also had an advanced age. She wept for her children, still Ayyub said: "This is Allah's will, we must submit to the decree of Allah."

Satan never left in peace Ayyub. He came and whispered evil to Ayyub: "How big is this misfortune! Seven boys and three girls die at once. They were your hope. Who'll be entertained?" Ayyub looked at the starry sky and said: "Allah, I know that You are the source of goodness, Lord, grant me patience." Satan fled. Escaped when Ayyub mentioned the name of Allah. He flees when someone invokes the name of Allah. When man says"I seek refuge in Allah from Satan," Allah protects and purifies his heart. Allah, the Glorified, loves his servants. Want them to follow the path of good.

The Prophet Ayyub was patient enough to endure all the sufferings. He knew that Allah was the source of goodness. Did you know that Allah wanted everyone to follow the path of good. He knew that Satan was the source of evil. Moreover, he knew that Satan wanted to discredit the man in Allah.

The People of Hawran

Satan has never ceased to whisper evil people. He wanted to win Ayyub. He went to the people of the village and told them: "Allah is angry with Ayyub therefore sent misfortunes on him. Ayyub committed mortal sins, so Allah cursed him. Ayyub put you all at risk. The curse of Allah may include you. It would be better that he leave the village."
The people of Hawran listened to the whisperings of Satan, so people were Ayyub's house and found him there with his wife.

One said: "We believe that Allah cursed him. We fear that the curse of Allah includes all the people of the village. You have to leave the village and take you away from us. We do not want to remain among us." Rahma was countered with these words, and said: "We live in our house. You have no right to offend the Prophet of Allah." The people of the village said rudely: "If you leave the village, we're kicking you out. Allah has cursed you. The curse of Allah will include all of the village because of you." With gentleness, Ayyub said to them: "Friends, what are you saying? Allah sent some misfortune upon me to test me. He, the Exalted, wants to test me as tested the earlier prophets. Hawran People of fear Allah! No offense to your Prophet! " A fool hath said: "Allah is angry with you because you disobeyed." Rahma said, "You are being unfair to your Prophet, I forgot his kindness to you? People of Hawran not remember that he sent food and clothing to your homes?" Ayyub looked skyward and said sadly: "Lord, if You want me to leave this village and live in the desert, I'll do well! Allah, forgive my people, because it is an ignorant people: if they knew the truth, not would treat me this way! "

The open

The Prophet Ayyub was a difficult situation. The people of Hawran came and kicked him out of his house. They believed that Allah had cursed, the curse so feared that hit them. They forgot that Ayyub was kind, loving and generous to the poor and needy. Satan had inflated the evil in them, so they followed him. Let Ayyub suffer loneliness and helplessness. None of them helped him except his wife Rahma sincere. Only Rahma believed that Allah was testing him as the prophets had tested earlier, so she decided to support him and not leave it alone. Rahma had to work in the homes of Hawran to get some bread for her and her husband. She often went to the desert Ayyub. Worried that the wolves and hyenas would devour him, because he was not strong enough to protect these animals.

Ayyub was patient. Bore all the troubles with a deep faith in Allah. Rahma could your patience and strength of the patience of Ayyub. Rahma has built a shelter to protect her husband from the sun and rain. The days passed in this way. The test Ayyub gets bigger every day. Rahma worked hard in the homes of the people of Hawran.

The Hunger

One day Rahma was seeking work for the people of Hawran, but people knocked the doors of their houses in your face, so she begged them for bread. Ayyub waiting for the return of his wife. This time she was taking. She asked for work, but people have closed their doors, so she was forced to cut his dreadlocks. She bought two small loaves with them. Rahma went back to her husband and gave him a loaf of bread. Ayyub when he learned that his wife had cut his dreadlocks became angry with her. He said: "I swear by Allah, if I were strong enough to hit you, I would." Ayyub was irritated by the behavior of his wife, so he did not eat the bread. She had no right to do that. Rahma cried a lot. She was unable to withstand these difficulties. I could not endure the hard life and the joy of the people for their misfortune. But when Satan whispered evil to it, Rahma sought refuge in Allah. Rahma was loyal to her husband, so that took care of him.

The Prophet Ayyub dearly loved his wife, because she was faithful, patient and was satisfied with the designs of God. For this reason his wife told him: "You are the Prophet of Allah, because I asked Allah to save us from this misfortune." Ayyub said: I had a long life of comfort. I had children, assets, properties and fields. Must I endure this life of poverty. " Rahma said: "The joy of the people in our misfortune grieves me." "Allah, the Glorified, knows our condition. He is the Most Merciful of the Merciful" Ayyub said. "We have nothing to eat today" Rahma said, "Will the people of Hawran and remember our kindness to them. I hope someone is generous to us."

The Fountain

Rahma was the village to look for some bread for your spouse. Ayyub was alone in the sun. He was loving and thanking Allah. Ayyub was always perseveres. His faith in God increased day by day. He was aware that Allah was the source of goodness, mercy and blessings and had power over all things. At that moment, two people went through Hawran Ayyub. They stopped and looked at him, and then one of them said: "You have committed a sin, Allah punished them for it. "The other said:" You have committed a grave sin. You have hidden your sin, because Allah has punished you for this sin. "The Prophet Ayyub was sad, because some people accused him of committing sin, even though he was innocent. Ayyub said bitterly:" I swear by the power of my Lord, Allah know that I called the orphans, the needy and the poor to eat me. "Ayyub looked skyward and said," Lord, I am satisfied with your design! The well is in your hands! You have power over all things! My health is in your hands! My disease is in your hands! Only You can heal me! Satan tries to inspire evil on me! "
The two people were surprised by the patience of Ayyub. They left him and went away. Reflected on the words of Ayyub along the way. Suddenly, the place shone with a beautiful transparent light. The air was filled with a sweet fragrance. Ayyub saw an angel coming down from heaven. The angel said to him: "Peace be upon you, Ayyub, the most beloved of Allah's servants. Ayyub, thou art the best of his servants. Allah sends his greetings to you and says," I heard your prayers. And I will give thee the reward of perseverance. Ayyub, hit the ground with your foot. Wash your body at Sacred Source. " Then the angel disappeared. Ayyub felt that light shining in your heart, so he hit the ground with his foot. Suddenly, fresh water flowed from the source. Ayyub that drank plain water. The blood flowed health on his face. The weakness of the left. He became stronger than it had during the days of misfortune and disease.

Ayyub stripped off his clothes disease and weakness, and then put on white clothes scented with the fragrance of Paradise. Gradually the soil around Ayyub became covered with plants. Rahma returned. She searched for her husband but could not find. He found a man with a healthy side. She politely asked the man: "Did you see Ayyub, the Prophet of Allah?" "I'm Ayyub, Rahma!" Ayyub said. "You?" Rahma said, "my husband old and cranky?" "Allah gives the disease and cure people. He has power over all things." Ayyub said. "You are Ayyub?" Rahma asked again. "Yes," Ayyub said, "Allah decided to cure me and put an end to my misery. Rahma, come! Cleanse your body at the source! Allah will reward you for your patience and loyalty, and even renew your vitality!"
Rahma was stripped of the robes of poverty. He washed his body at the source. So Allah dressed in the clothes of youth and health. The spring water flowed and irrigated fields covered with ashes, and then they turned green. The holy water into the ground, watered the graves of the sons of Ayyub who had died. His children were raised. Everything went back to how it was seven years before when Ayyub was fine. Allah tested him. Wanted him to be patient and grateful. Allah wanted the people to know how He (Allah) was able to produce disease and health in them, make them poor and prosperous. Let them know that they had no right to despise the poor for their condition, or by their weak position of weakness, or even the old because of his advanced age.

The story of Prophet Ayyub is a sign and a lesson for all people. It demonstrates that Allah has power over all things. He who was deprived of its blessings Ayyub, his property and he and his health and he was returned to Ayyub that all his children and blessed and again their fertile fields and multiplied his flock. Ayyub Allah returned to his youth and health. Gave him his children and grandchildren, so that the people believed in Allah, the One. People also believed in the prophethood of the Apostle Ayyub.

"And (remember) Jo, when He cried to his Lord (saying): Verily, distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of the merciful! And serve and freed of the evil that afflicted; refunding their family, doubling it, as increased by virtue of Our mercy, and to serve as a message to the worshipers. " (Quran Chapter 21 V.83 and 84)
